There is a significant numbre of afromexican people in the southern states of Guerrero and Oaxaca, México. Nearly 1.4 million of people in these states are Afromexican and yet, they´re mostly ignored by the rest of the country.
This is a series of pictures taken in the small comunity of Chacahua in the state of Oaxaca, a littel town in the Chacahua lake, a bioluminiscent lake in the pacific shore of Mexico.
There are no much to do for a living except for the fishing and some tourist visitors every now and then that rent some places to stay for a few days.
