I am fascinated by the people who make their livings by performing on the streets every day. What it must like to watch the mass of humanity flow by, looking for a flicker of interest that might reward a performance or a craft with a dollar or two!
These photos come mostly from the United States but also from across the world. I want to share the common sense of joy and hope in the faces of those who choose to perform for the anonymous crowds that pass them by every day.
