SDN is excited to announce the fifth SDN Online Documentary Portfolio Reviews. We have teamed up with leaders in the editorial, publishing, and fine art industries to review work of documentary and editorial photographers, offer constructive criticism, and keep an eye out for new and talented photographers.
 
Since 2008, SDN has been at the forefront of promoting global documentary photography through our website, ZEKE magazine, SDN Education and other programming that we offer to our network of photographers and others interested in the power of images to tell important stories.

Priority Access Sign Up: January 24–February 15 (gives you access to early registration)
Early registration: February 17–23
Standard registration: February 24–March 27
Submission of portfolio URLs due: March 31
Reviewees receive final schedules: April 3
Reviews: Saturday, April 5

Portfolio Reviews Summary

• Each review will be 25-minutes conducted online via Zoom.
• You can sign up for a maximum of 12 reviews—6 in the morning and 6 in the afteroon.
• When you register, you will have the option to enter your preferences for reviewers and we will do our best to match you up with your top choices. The sooner you register, the greater chance you will have of receiving your preferred reviewers.
• We encourage reviewees to create a free online gallery of your portfolio(s) on the SDN web platform to share with reviewers. You may also use your own website to present your work, but it will not be eligible for the Reviewers Choice Award.
• The cost to participate is $55 per review ($60 for late registration.)

Reviewers Choice Award
A panel of reviewers will vote on the most successful projects for the Reviewers Choice Award. At the end of the day, we will share a presentation of all submissions and announce the top two winners. Each will receive a $150 award and highlighted on the SDN website. To be eligible for the Reviewers Choice Award, your galleries must be created on the SDN platform.
