Exhibit Title: Old Age
Location: United States
There are more and more elderly lonely people. The structure of families is changing, which means that many seniors live alone in their own four walls.
Modernity marginalizes older people, pushes them into non-existence and niches. Their drama is slow and quiet. It takes place in four walls.
This elderly woman from Eastern Europe is only a small example of family rejection. With this example, we can clearly see how much she struggles with loneliness and rejection.
Regardless of where, this problem remains the same everywhere. It is each family's responsibility to look after and respect older members of our family. They are our heritage and the memory of our ancestors.
Studies say that loneliness kills older people twice as much as obesity. Eleonora died of loneliness. She was found in her apartment a week later.
