What happens when a global political agenda doesn’t coincide with the public’s views, wishes or opinions? Why do governments like the Canadian, Unites States, United Kingdom, and so many others chose to put their own agendas ahead of those of the their peoples wants and wishes? Why do so many governments seemingly fail to represent the sentiment of the people or at least acknowledge they may not be representing the “people.” Is this truly democracy? Are there bigger factors at play that the public is either uneducated to comment on? Or do our governments, their representatives truly believe their public are unable to formulate an objective opinion?
