The skin I live in

Giorgi Dundua | Georgia

Untitled

The funded project, "The skin I live in" represents the conceptual series of sexual workers, carefully analyzes the problematic aspects of commercial sexual activities and portrays Georgian women and transgenders life between visibility and invisibility, social justice and injustice, risk and hope. The project's main characters are women who wisely decided to start sexual work in unfavorable socio-economic conditions. Most of them have become invisible for their families, friends and in general for society. Their fundamental problems are healthcare, violence and constant fear of others. However, it is noteworthy that they exist between us, and we cannot see them as if they are not.
