Home Schooling. Although Keyworker children have been able to go to school, much has had to be done online at home. My children have been going to school two days per week as my wife is part-time, so my daughter is catching up at home.

Stop! All those entering the building are stopped and asked regarding COVID-19 symptoms before being allowed any further.

Upcycling. Home crafts have become popular hobbies with restrictions on leaving the house. Here empty bottles are being painted and turned into decorative lamps.

Monday, 10am. A normally full waiting room is empty as patients have been too scared to consult.

Friends Meet. My son catching up with his friends over social media platforms, particularly Zoom which has become extremely popular. I have huge concerns over the psychological impact of isolation in children.

Donated Protection. Many Family Doctor practices have not been able to source NHS supplies of personal protective equipment. Our visors were made by patients and local schoolchildren, and many of our aprons were also donated.

Home Gym. Gyms and swimming pools remain closed, so I have a weekly personal training session via WhatsApp using my own equipment. The Baked Bean cans are improvised dumbbells.

Happy Birthday Handwashing. Much has been made of the importance of washing our hands, initial advice was to wash them for as long as it takes to sing "happy Birthday" twice.

Kick Off Time. The grassroots football season finished on 15th March 2020, and was suspended just 5 weeks later. A normal Saturday Afternoon would see a full car park, but the gate is currently closed.

What To Do. Medical and government guidance has been changing over the period, initially we were prepared to deal with dying patients in the community. My colleague is looking at guidance of how t help patients with breathlessness.

Self-Testing. It wasn't until the beginning of May that testing was reintroduced, firstly for healthcare staff. These documents are for my own test, which came back negative. Antibody testing has now begun, but is of unknown value at present.

Contactless Dispensing. One of the perspex screens put up at the beginning of the pandemic. Only contactless payments are taken, the card machine has its own window.

Spring Exercise. Despite the lockdown we have been able to have daily exercise. Following one of the wettest winters on record, lockdown coincided with a change to unseasonably sunny and warm weather for spring. As a result, the trees and flowers are booming.

Lost Colleagues and Risk. Medical journals featuring articles on risk and the ad loss of lives of many BAME healthcare workers, including one of our local doctors on the cover of this edition.

Goodbye, Dad. My father died during the strict lockdown period, limitations meant a graveside funeral of less than 10 people. We have not been able to say proper goodbyes.

Only One At A Time. Entry to reception has emergency signage and taped areas on the pavement allowing only one person in reception at a time.

Should Be The Toss. The cricket season is yet to begin, this would have been match day, but despite the lack of action, ground maintenance has to continue.

The New Consultation. We have had to quickly embrace new technology as telephone and video consultations have replaced face-to-face appointments.
