My social documentary practice often explores global themes around my home in Yorkshire's South Pennines. I am a self-taught photographer who has taken pictures throughout my adult life and completed an MA in Photography with Falmouth University in 2023. My work has featured in various print publications and has been exhibited in galleries from Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire to Dunbar in Scotland. Recently, I completed the ‘Crossing Sectors’ programme run by Liverpool’s Open Eye Gallery to develop socially engaged practice and I volunteer with Bradford’s Impressions Gallery to support installation of exhibitions.
