He stayed alone many years ago. First he lost family - wife and son, then he lost work, then flat and the last he lost was the interest in life. He moved to his parents house at the farmstead where many years ago he spent childhood with 2 brothers and 1 sisters. His parents house is situated in the farm Plevna, Latvia, 2km from the border with Russia. You could say - this is the edge of Europe. From all big family only the eldest brother come to visit him some times a year. I shot the sunset of pensioner's life in the farmhouse after he lost everything.
