Fire transforms everything in its path—leaving behind destruction, resilience, and a story etched in ash. Scorched Landscapes is a visual exploration of the Pacific Palisades Fire and its profound impact on the Los Angeles community. Through my lens, I document the haunting beauty of charred landscapes, the remnants of lost homes, and the unwavering spirit of those affected.
This series captures not just the physical devastation but the emotional toll—families displaced, nature struggling to regenerate, and a city reckoning with the increasing frequency of wildfires. Each image serves as a testament to the intersection of climate change, human vulnerability, and resilience.
By merging photojournalism with artistic storytelling, this exhibit invites viewers to witness the raw aftermath of disaster and reflect on our collective responsibility in an era of environmental uncertainty. Scorched Landscapes is more than a documentation of loss; it is a call to awareness, action, and empathy.
Photography is my lens into the world’s untold stories—a medium through which I merge art and narrative to document social issues with depth and authenticity. As a photographer and visual storyteller, my work bridges photojournalism, documentary photography, and artistic expression, capturing moments that reveal the complexities of human experience.
With a background in journalism and media, I am driven by the power of imagery to inform, provoke thought, and inspire change. Whether covering pressing social topics, documenting communities, or crafting visual essays, my goal is to create compelling narratives that resonate beyond the frame. My work has been featured in Spotify, Roll Up Magazine, and Warner Bros. Discovery, and I have had the opportunity to assist on major editorial productions, including the Olivia Munn cover for People’s Magazine.
From the raw authenticity of everyday life to the staged elegance of fashion editorials, I navigate different photographic styles with a deep respect for storytelling. My approach is immersive—listening, observing, and capturing the essence of a moment while allowing its story to unfold naturally. Through my lens, I strive to amplify voices, challenge perspectives, and celebrate the richness of human experiences.
