Anne Bailey is a filmmaker, photojournalist and multimedia instructor based in Portland, ME. She currently teaches filmmaking and multimedia production at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and has taught at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, the University of Montana School of Journalism and the Freedom Forum Diversity Institute. She is the founder of two citizen journalism training programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tunisia and focuses her own documentary work on social and human rights issues in the United States and overseas. Her work has been published by the Global Post, Reuters, PBS MediaShift, News Photographer, Montana Magazine and Montana Quarterly, among others.
