Mohsen Kaboli was born in a city called Gorgan in 1982.
Graduated in psychology from Azad university in 2005, Mohsen Kaboli started documentary photography professionally in 2008.
His work based on long term projects focuses on social problems, such as poverty, inequity, and social discrimination.
Mohsen Kaboli has won several national and international prizes including the first place in Tirgan Festival in Toronto, Canada in 2016, the nominee for Year award 2017 and 2018, and also the first prize in documentary festival in 2019 in Iran.
Staged in Badguir gallery in Paris in 2018, his exhibition entitled( at oghlan) concentrates on Turkmen people's life and its relation to horses. This exhibition was also staged in Bursa, Turkey later
He also won the 2019 Spanish Grant Award Luis valtuena.
