Joe Harrison is a documentary photographer and environmental practitioner (MAppSc) based in Ōtautahi/ Christchurch.

Since 2010 he has undertaken several visits to the Republic of Georgia, resulting in an extensive body of work covering the country's people and landscapes. In recent years he has focused on long term projects on social and environmental issues not far from his home.

In 2024 Joe was named New Zealand Geographic Photographer of the Year
