Photographing vintage movie theaters built before 1965 across America for over 40 years, Benita VanWinkle has images and stories from over 900 locations and theaters in 47 states. This work, along with teaching photography at High Point University in North Carolina, and a photographic portfolio of images entitled "Old Glory", consume much of her waking thoughts.
