Chicago – Following is the statement of the board of Women’s March Chicago following the successful rally and march in Grant Park Saturday:
“A year after the Women’s March on Chicago exceeded our wildest expectations, today’s MARCH TO THE POLLS demonstrates that the voices of women and their allies are stronger than ever. Today we marched. Tomorrow we vote.”

As a freelance photojournalist, with American Press Association credentials, I was granted Media access to the stage area, and reserves space for People with Disabilities, Families, VIPs. I roamed the area looking often directly in the many faces of persistence and hope. I documented for 6 hours, including the streets, marching, all people with voices to be heard. Over 300,000 in Chicago, and all over the world people marched. This is the time of the Trump Administration.
