Tesla Takedown

Edward Boches | Massachusetts, United States

Tesla Takedown Boston. On March 1, 2025, Boston protestors joined a nationwide protest at Tesla dealerships in hopes of calling attention to the destruction being caused by Elon Musk as he takes over much of the United States Government.

Outrage over Elon Musk’s takeover the United States, which has been in the works for months, continues to grow. The world’s richest man has embedded his 20 year old engineers inside the government’s digital infrastructure gaining access to servers, passwords, contracts, and more. In a devastating and frightening New York Times article that appeared on February 28, 2025, a team of reporters reveals the planning and that has enabled one man, with little knowledge of how the government works, to become as or more powerful than the president. As this sinks in, more and more Americans have become outraged, leading to a series of protests across the country including a national protest on March 1, 2025 titled Tesla Takedown. Most of Musk’s wealth is tired up in his Tesla stock and protestors hope that if they can affect Tesla’s sales and stock prices, Musk will feel some pain. The protest, initiated by BU Professor Joan Donovan, occurred at 90 dealerships across the country. These images are from the protest in Boston, where despite very limited promotion or exposure, which attracted overe 300 people.
