COVID-19 Pandemic Safety

Zabed Hasnain Chowdhury | Bangladesh

Muslims attend last Friday prayer of Ramadan at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after the government has eased the restrictions amid concerns over the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak in Dhaka.

In this COVID-19 pandemic, the whole world becomes the witness of a situation that never seen before. Almost 6 months people are facing this situation. Mask and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are becoming our daily wearing. Not only in Bangladesh, the whole world is at the risk of Corona Virus. Personal protective equipment is protective clothing, goggles, or other garments or equipment designed to protect the wearer's body from injury or infection. PPE is most important in preventing transmission of the Corona virus not only in treatment centers but also various activities, cleaning, waste management and safe burials, and community care related to the outbreak. People who have to go outside for income they must wear PPE and mask. Specially the front liner like doctor, police, journalist and volunteer. They have to wear as they are in the risk most. Without front liners nowadays, many people wear PPE for their safety. Sometimes it looks like a soldier wearing a uniform to protect lives. As they go out to serve the nation. General people go out for their family. Everyone is a soldier at their own field.
