Education Matters

The Supa Inclusive School and Orphanage for both mentally and physically disables children, Attariya, Nepal, June 2018. Disabled child is considered bad karma in Nepal and often abandoned by the parents. This orphanage is run by the government but it lacks basic facilities. My friends from a small NGO only came across it a couple of months prior to my visit and started by setting up a kitchen and hiring a carer who would look properly after, in some cases, severely malnourished children. 45 of them.

There are images from two locations here; both remote and neglected. Pictures taken in order to boost fundraising efforts in Europe.

1)The Supa Inclusive School, Attariya, Nepal - school and an orphanage is located in one of the poorest regions of the Far-Western Development Region, Kailali District. It provides education as well as shelter for 45 physically and mentally disabled children.

2) School under construction in a remote village of Yamunadanda, Sindhupalchowk district, Nepal built together with a local community to replace old school destroyed by the earthquake.
