Overcome Loneliness Through Animals

Nazanin Tabatabaee | Iran

01-Arezoo is 34. She is a professional off-road driver and adventure. She got divorced and lives alone with her dog in her apartment in north of Tehran, Iran.

The modern world is the world of loneliness. It has turned to a world in which men are cast away from each other day by day. Technology has rooted out man's communication difficulties but emotional bonds have grown dramatically pale.

More and more people all over the world are trying to fill up their loneliness by taking in pets, especially people who live alone are trying to use pets to make up for their emotional losses and needs.

I’ve tried to take pictures from youths who live alone and have a deep emotional relationship with their pets.

For most of them living without pets is impossible.

Taking dogs for a walk in public is not allowed in Iran. Dog owners have to spend most of their time at home rather than public.
