A candid moment of Ho tribal folk female artist with her traditional outfits from Jharkhand, India

The Ho are tribal people of India. They mainly inhabit the states of Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal,  madya pardesh, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar. They constitute 10.50% of Scheduled Tribes with a population of 1,033,095 according to 2011 census in four states; Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar and West Bengal. The Ho tribes generally speak the Ho language. They wear unique and beautiful traditional dresses while performing folk dances at cultural events. The woman generally wear their traditional yellow color saree and red blouse with notable decorative hair styles. Whereas men wear their traditional white color dhoti and vest. They use traditional musical instruments during performing their traditional folk dances.

I captured all photographs of these folk artists during cultural event 21st Annual Function cum Youth Day on 12-01-2018 in Noamundi College, Noamundi, Jharkhand, India.
