The problem of alcoholism in East Europe is very serious, in particular in Russia. The age of mortality was calculated around 59 years old, 17 years less than in Italy. 43% of russian men die from alcohol abuse. It’s a social issue. To the contrary, the abuse of females is still hidden. The majority drink alone or with their husbands, but easily they catch in the trap of addiction more then them. I met seven women in Ekaterinburg, first city of the Asiatic Russia. They live all together in a house paid by charity. They have no psychological support nor social assistance. The only rule is no alcohol at home.
