Join us for the first Curated Shed—a summertime potluck barbeque and projections of your work. We will grill up chicken, veggie burgers, and vegetables from our garden. Please bring anything else you want to contribute—beer, wine, salad, desserts, etc. We’ll also provide all the paper goods, ice, and some beer and wine to get started.
Projections will include work by the following photographers:
Lauren Owens Lambert
We will also present the work of the winners of SDN's ZEKE Award for Documentary Photography
First Place Winners
The evening begins at 6:30 pm. The projections will begin at 8:00 pm (or when dark enough).
Just so we know how many people to plan for, please sign up on this form. We will also use your email to contact you if we need to reschedule because of rain.
If you drive or take an Uber/Lyft, just follow your GPS. We are on the left side towards the end of a one-way street — 61 Potter Street, Concord.
By public transportation, you can take the Commuter Rail – Fitchburg Line to Concord (Not West Concord). From there, it is less than a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of trains arriving in Concord from Boston and Cambridge in the early evening. Going home, the trains are more limited, with return trains at 7:53, 9:15, and 10:20. The round trip fare between Porter/Boston and Concord is $18.50 (ouch!).
Since we are on a narrow one-way street, the parking can get tight, but there should be room as long as everyone parks on our side (the left side) of the street. That means you need to go to the end of the street, turn around in a driveway, and park on our side. What needs to be avoided is parking on both sides of the street and not allowing enough room for emergency vehicles to get through—in case the projector explodes, causes a fire, and the Concord Fire Department needs to come visit us. If you find there is no room on Potter Street, you can park on Fairhaven, which is the street you will be on before ours, and it is just a few minute walk to our house. Any place that is not blocking a driveway or fire hydrant is fair game. If you arrive early and there is space in our driveway, feel free to use it.
