Biography

 Ruoyi Jiang was born in Beijing, China. She has worked and lived in New York City for the past three years.

She has always been attracted to simplicity and humor. Yet the contrast between social spheres in China has also made her aware of humanitarian problems. Being involved in filmmaking in New York has encouraged her to unite her documentary photography with her fine art photos.

Ruoyi's photographs have been shown on the UN Disability website, ISO Magazine, Food and Wine, at various film festivals and other publications.
