Nathalie is a photojournalist & documentary photographer with a focus on environment, development and social justice issues. She studied Fine Arts in Maastricht, San Francisco and Düsseldorf, graduating with a Master’s degree. After Ethiopia and South Africa, she is now based in Istanbul, Turkey.

Her work has been published by Al Jazeera, Mail & Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Süddeutsche Zeitung among others. She is winner of the EU Lorenzo Natali Media Prize 2015 for Journalism on Development; finalist at Kuala Lumpur International Photoawards 2016; shortlisted for the Kolga Tbilisi Photo Awards 2016; nominee for the Felix Schoeller Photo Awards 2015 and the Royal Photographic Society’s Joan Wakelin Bursary for Documentary Photography in 2013.
