1975 born in Karlsruhe, lives and works in Karlsruhe and Essen (Germany)

2001-2006 studies photography (Prof. Susanne Brügger) and typography (Prof. Sabine an Huef) at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts

since 2006 freelance photographer and book designer

since 2009 lecturer in Typeface and Image/Book Design in the bachelor degree course photography at the Folkwang University of Arts, Essen
