Although it may be said that poverty also means depriving someone of the chance to develop his or her own identity, during my working experience I did not see this in actuality.

Despite which country we come from - we are all connected by a shared bond as one human race – and should concern ourselves with the quality and conditions of life which are not equally distributed across our planet.

Hidden Identities is "unfinished" because I did not show all the places where I worked and it also acts as a metaphor for the fieldwork yet to be done with many families throughout the world.

The people I met were amazing, but living in terrible conditions, fighting everyday for their survival. I made this work to reflect up on the reality of some of the poorest but strongest people in Europe.
