Minhang is the district I am living in, in Shanghai. Located at the western side of the City, it has been a wide area dedicated to industrial and economic activities for many years, mixing with residential places. The landscape has substantially changed over the years, different industries, the population as well, with a middle-class emerging and requiring new facilities, retails and services. I am trying to capture the current stage of evolution, without neglecting some reminiscences of the past, in a project that should be completed by the end of 2012 / early 2013.
