Marble Game, also known as “Marbles” is very famous in rural areas of Bangladesh. If anyone walks through any village in Bangladesh surely he/she will see children gathering and playing Marbles or he/she will see a bunch of children playing marbles. Especially this game is very popular among kids. Marbles are very cheap and available compared to cricket and football which made it so famous among rural kids. There are different versions of games with these tiny glass balls. With time and environment, rules may vary. Sometimes you have to hit an opponent’s marble with another marble to win or sometimes you just have to reach a certain hole. In the game, small fight or tears is not very uncommon because children are so emotional and cannot accept to lose.
However, these Marbles are very lovable and important to almost every kid at rural Bangladesh. For thousands of years marbles have proven itself to be one of the world’s most popular, interesting and entertaining games.
