Viticulture is an important economic sector in my city.
The harvest period is only part of the work done by different actors but an important and intense game, one where the grapes are harvested. That is why I wanted to incorporate it into my photographic project.
The photo series begins with the harvest at night, as agricultural machines now allow. Then the harvest during the day and finally the workers who work in the wine cellars. I would have liked taking pictures on the grape harvest by hand, a method that tends to disappear. Unfortunately, lack of time did not allow me.
I thank the various people who helped me pull this off: Jacques, director of cellar and Rudy, the winemaker.
