TOMS “One for One” program is working with Management Sciences for Health (MSH) to distribute 50,000 shoes to orphaned and vulnerable children in Lesotho, a mountainous land with many rural communities and a climate that sees snow in the winter. With a high HIV prevalence rate, and many impoverished rural communities, these shoes will make a big difference in keeping the children healthy and preventing disease. But equally as importantly, as the photographs demonstrate, the children shined with a renewed self-confidence upon receiving their new shoes and being lavished with attention.
