I visited Zimbabwe on behalf of The Salvation Army in the US. The government of Zimbabwe had gifted a parcel of land that was previously an all white country club to be repurposed as an orphange and school for children of the victims of AIDS. I traveled to Zimbabwe and shot film and stills to document the early beginnings of this project. In a country that is so poor it is a revelation to see how important a role religion, song and dance play in their lifes.
