The idea was to visit the Peshmerga guerilla soilders in the mountains of northern Iraq fighting the Iranian regim sience more that 30 years back. The group is active politically and millitary. They are a marxist movement fighting for better conditions for the workers and equality between the genders and secularity.

I spent two weeks with them and was allowed to be in there camp and see there everyday activities and follow them into millitary operations in the border areas between Iraq and Iran.
