The World Health Organization estimates that a staggering number of 596000 people have died from Malaria in Africa in 2010.
It is relatively simple methods like the use of mosquito nets that could save most of these lives. In a war torn country like the Democratic Republic of the Congo, however, it is the distribution of these nets that pose the biggest challenge. I documented Unicef's unprecedented effort to supply every of the 70 million Congolese citizens with a mosquito net.
